Questi giorni ho ripreso tra le mani le tessere di mosaico in oro 24 kt tagliate a spizzi; tra qualche tempo sperimenterò una commistione tra mosaico e pittura… ho già qualche idea. Adesso, mi piace dare forma a questa figura femminile creando, con diversi tipi di oro mescolati ad altri pigmenti, effetti di luce nuovi e sorpendenti. A presto, Sergio.

The opulence of gold
Over the past few days I’ve once again started working with 24 ct gold mosaic pieces; in a little while I’ll be experimenting with a combination of mosaics and painting… I’ve already got a few ideas.
Now, I’d like to give a shape to this female form, by creating new, unexpected light effects using different types of gold mixed with other pigments. See you soon, Sergio.
